Does working visa has been replaced by the Green card ?

Does anyone renewed his working visa - stamp 4 lately ? I hope GNIB renewed it with no problem .
I am heading next week to renew mine and hopefully I won't be informed that Green Card replaced it , as Green Card as far as I can see is not of any benefit over working visa .
