Can I apply for Tier 1 visa if I didnt use initial HSMP visa

I got the hsmp visa in 2008 but only stayed for one month in the UK. Though I know I cannot renew, but can I still apply afresh under tier 1 any time later ? or is it that if you dont use it initially, they wont grant you another?

Well when u come you would see that its not all you thought it is.You have to do proper planning and not just making up your mind....It goes beyond that.

My candid advice is since you are still in employment in your country why not take a month leave then come to the UK to seek for employment and access the place for yourself instead on relying on what people are saying. personally that is what I did,I'm presently in the UK on a month leave and would...

Not worth it working in UK?

I got my HSMP approved,but somehow in a dilemma about applying for EC. Seen some job sites for IT jobs in UK and the average somehow is in the range of £25k per annum which I think is on the low side. I presently work in the IT field in my country and gets something close to £20k in my own curreny...

Hotel receipt might be a little risky....Sometimes they want a more concrete proof of Accommodation.I heard quite a number of people denied cos of hotel receipt as proof of accommodation.

Try and call them on phone....I think they must have mailed your documents back to you,not sure but that's what they do.

I about applying for EC for myself and spouse.Do I need to apply for myself and spouse the same time as my EC or apply alone,please which is better?,again if you are legally married do you need to be married for atleast 2 years or is that for unmarried partners alone?
