Hi andy2007,

I had done a similar mistake of filling that entire section. When I went to VFS they cancelled the whole page saying it is not needed. Hence, that section should not be filled.

I got EC stamped from 4th Dec for 2 yrs. I collected the passport from VFS on 6th Dec. Thanks everyone for all their help. Do ask me anything if anybody has any queries. I had asked for post-dated EC of 15th Jan 2008, but I got it from 4th Dec.

Hi guys! Today was 16th day after I applied for EC (12th Nov was my application date). Still no update as the SMS still shows application forwarded.......... Hi JD,

I guess it is mandatory to submit ITR when applying for HSMP approval. Hence all the documents are needed to apply for EC, that you had submitted when applying initially for HSMP. Rest I think your list of docs is fine. Jut my 2 cents for the ITR though.

Even my employer had given me the exact letter, saying that this letter was given to him for applying loan, and it was accepted by HO and I just got my HSMP approved. Hope this helps.
