Hi workpermitissues, I am into Network and Systems and IT Infrastructure. I have 8+ yrs of IT experience. I was under the impressions that I would get a job within 2 weeks since there are almost 200 jobs posted on job websites everyday. But I guess even after applying them I hardly get 3-4 calls and...

Hi, I think Jet is a better option. I came to the UK on 18th Jan by Jet. I had 43.5 kgs of check-in baggage and around 17 kgs of hand-baggage (1 laptop bag and a strolley bag). The main thing is make sure that you carry some kind of proof that 40 kgs is allowed for Migrant Visas. I had called Jet Cu...

Hi lata,

You can very well fax the certificates and letters to NARIC. I had done the same to speed up the process. I think after you fax it, the next day the status changes saying that they have received the necessary documents.

Dear fly2uk, You can apply for your wife anytime. In my case, I applied first, and then after few days (while still in India) I applied for my wife's visa. The reason behind, if just in case, my EC was refused, I should not waste Rs.34,000, instead I would have lost just Rs.17,000. I applied for my ...

Basically you will need to prove to the EC officer that you will be able to financially support your mother and not claim any public funds.
