It's been 2 weeks since submitting my application bundle for as a married spouse to a British citizen, can someone advice if I need to should have received an acknowledgement letter?

If so, do I need to chase this up and in what medium?

Notice of marriage was done through approved HO registry and all vetting done. We'had a registry wedding just a month today

We got married just a month ago here in the UK.

I have explained things to my wife just so she understands it, we are settling for local trips in uk instead.

I recently sought my MP to intervene, HO informed him that I reapply but seek legal advice.

What could be the way forward is all am asking for.
