I got a Court date for the 7 July 2009. No appointment needed. Just have to arrived before normal court proceedings. Live in Kilkenny.

I also applied in Aug 2006. Regular updates. LTR Feb 2009. My friend in Canada could not believe that there is no system in place in Ireland and also the amount of money we end up paying. She thought I was living in a third world.

None what I was aware of. I only had to provide a Police Clearance in October 2008. I cannot even remembered applying for LTR.

I am really confused now. Applied October 2006 for LTR, 2 months after Naturalisation. Received letter today that my LTR is approved. I really wonder sometimes if this country is for real. Still no news on Naturalisation. Send P21 on 29 November 2008.

I doubt if I withdrew my application it will make any difference to the people in the cue. seeing that there is no system it will not make a difference. I can asure you that it does make a difference if you enter the canadian system as it work on first come first served.
