Re: ILR (LR) and FLR(M) application at the same time?

Hi Question 1 - Can you please send me the link of the guidance. Are you sure we can apply for ILR & FLR(M) even though we are in section 3C leave now. I thought making a new application on a different category will end section 3C leave hence we will have no right to be in the UK. Question 2 - i...

ILR (LR) and FLR(M) application at the same time?

Hi I and my spouse are currently on T2 General. Our T2 visa has expired about a week ago but we already have a 'valid in time application' with the home office for T2 extension. I was only two days short for the ILR (LR) application (days counted including 28 day rule). In theory now I am in a posit...

with over 540 days of absence overall, but due to some very compelling circumstances which may prompt the CW to disregard some of the absences and reduce the overall count to under 540). What compelling circumstances and what is the exact number of absences you have? Quite a few refusals of ILR LR ...

Re: Correspondence 5 month gap FLR(M)

Thank you very much Seagul. Your comment here made me realise I can download the monthly online credit card statements from 2014. Before I was only concentrating on the original correspondences I have received by post for the last 2 years. Phew... Can I print those statements at home and show at the...

Hi Shealau
I understand how stressful the situation could be, since you haven't revived a reply from senior members yet I thought it would be helpful if you read this for now.

ILR (10y route) after on T4&T2 dependent +FLR(M/FP)

Sorry if this question sounds stupid to some guru's here. The more I read these forums the more confusing its getting... My question is that if the main applicant who has just been granted ILR after completing 10 years on T4 and T2 what would the main applicant's dependent partner need? Is it FLR(M)...

Re: MN1 Application

I did just that last December. Children were undergoing MN1 process after parents were settled. We arrived at the airport with the receipt for the MN1 and had absolutely no issues at immigration. Thanks for confirming that. Could you please confirm whether the kids had a valid visa at the time they...

Re: MN1 Application

Q1. Yes, a UK born child has an entitlement to register as British once either parent is granted ILR. The child does not need ILR. Q2. Yes, he can travel. Note the registration certificate is NOT a travel document. He can only use a passport to travel but if he is already British on return to the U...

Re: MN1 Application

Hi, Few questions again... The passport we hold allows us to come to the UK for 6 months on a visitor visa granted on-arrival. My question is that will the child (UK born -who doesn't have any visa) be allowed to come to the UK using a non-UK passport (using 6 month visitor visa) and then apply for ...

FLR(M) to ILR

Hi I am little bit confused here...
My understanding is that if the main applicant who is on T2 gets ILR then the partner has to apply for FLR(M). If the partner later then completes 10 years while on FLR(M) can s/he apply for ILR? or does the clock reset to zero as soon as s/he gets FLR(M)?

Thanks

Re: MN1 Application

No. A child needs a valid visa or a British passport to be admitted to the UK. If the child is a NON visa national, s/he can be admitted as a visitor to the UK only This raises few questions. Q1. Can the child apply directly for MN1 without having ILR or any other visa first as he is born in the UK...

Tier 2 Dependent to FLR m

Hi. When I have my ILR (10 year route) granted what happens to my wife who is on Tier 2 dependent visa? Does she has to change categories (FLRM) as soon as possible or can she continue to be on the same visa till it expires? Also are there any travel restrictions if visa category hasn’t been changed ?
