Re: Vfs self scanning

now you simply either take along photo copies of all your documents and scan them at vfs or indeed do it yourself at home. My only concern is how can these documents be verified as being authentic if nobody gets to see the original? Copies are fine. If there are doubts about whether a document is g...

And it's probably best not to wait until her current leave expires. It will be better to apply before it expires.

Re: FLR (M) visa application: (just) married but not living together

We're wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation - married but not cohabiting - and what evidence did you supply with your application / how did you approach it? Any tips would be gratefully received. Thank you! :) Since you are married, you don’t have to meet the cohabitation requirement....

Relationship evidence includes photos (these are SUPER important, and if you can make an album, even better), chat/phone records (WhatsApp, Facebook, etc), wedding invitation if you have one,
Not for FLR(M).

Were the cash payments deposited into your bank account?

You may not be able to rely on them otherwise.

Re: FLR(M) Advice to speed up process

You may apply 28 days before completing 30 months using Super Priority service, and ask for up to 28 days to be added.

I agree that for the Super Priority service, an early biometrics appointment would be useful otherwise it's a bit of a waste.

Thanks Jaune08 for your reply, The issue is I do not remember having this sort of question when we did apply 3 years ago. You probably mean a UK national.

My last 12 months payslips look like this:

December 2019 1337.50 + Overtime 164.62
November 2019 1337.50 + Overtime 176.37
October 2019 1337.50 + Overtime 176.37
You probably mean 2018.

How does it work?
If granted, they can enter from the "Valid from" date on the visa.

What you're being advised is that you could have registered your UK-born son as a British citizen anytime after you got ILR and before the age of 18.

It's likely not your wife you want to extend.

What is the visa your wife has got that needs extending?

A scanned copy of the data page of your passport should suffice.

Thanks Seagul, makes sense and will plan to apply by post during the last 28 days of expiry. In person seems to be expensive - extra £800!
You will have to apply online, no longer by post.

There is no longer an "In person" application. The £800 is for the 'Super Priority' service.
