Thanks Seagul, makes sense and will plan to apply by post during the last 28 days of expiry. In person seems to be expensive - extra £800!
You will have to apply online, no longer by post.

There is no longer an "In person" application. The £800 is for the 'Super Priority' service.

Thanks for your reply, but my husband is British and he is travelling with me, so can’t I use his statement

Thanks
Vesh
If your spouse is British, you have the option of applying as a family member of an EU/EEA/Swiss national. Financial documents won't be asked of you.

You applied for the visa too early it seems :)

Your option is to let it expire then apply again in 2020 when she is ready. But that carries obvious risks indeed.
Doesn't sound like a good option. Besides OP has stated they would like to come to the UK in Jan 2020.

Thank you both I feel pretty stupid now for such an obvious thing! So that means I have until the 28 August to have the online application submitted?
Correct.

And pay the fees.

Re: Advice required on wording and immigration history

Am I right in thinking that if tomorrow / 23 August is the last date to submit payslip of 26 July ... You may have a few more days. Is 26 July the date payment was received? Some wageslips may have a pay date, for example of 26 July, but cover the period 1 July to 31 July. In these cases the 28 day...

Hi I'm completed my online application and been shocked by how few documents they are asking for.
The documents you submit should satisfy the immigration rules.

Where there is a conflict between HO's guidance (or request) and the Rules, deference should be to the Rules.

Some people are giving list of documents longer than this just for a tourist visa to the UK.
I believe the OP is trying to say they were expecting to see a longer list.

Hi there I am applying, on behalf of my partner, for her to come to the UK on a settlement visa/marriage - it looks like we will both need to attend an interview (for her in Hong Kong where she's working) and for me here in London. So what documents will she need to take with her to her meeting and...

If thats the case then you have to contact your local VFS center from where the application was made, I am afraid.
VFS doesn't cover Morocco, TLScontact does as the OP has stated in their opening post.

You will need to submit the divorce certificate you've received, as part of the supporting docs as you'll be asked about your previous marriage in the application.

There's a chance that this visa may be refused since no FLR(M) applications can be made from within the UK.
I believe it's only from the UK that FLR(M) can be made; currently anyway.

Isn't the 'R' for ' Remain'?

I think I've found the answer. The document checklist states: Payslips covering a period of 6 months prior to the date of application . In my case, I take that to mean the 6 payslips preceding yesterday's application submission (Jan to Jun) and not the 6 payslips preceding the UKVCAS appointment (F...
