Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Good to hear Sulla! I for one will miss your expertise and insights on this message board. Oh, I won't be calling it a day just yet. I still have to wait to actually get the passport. Besides, it will be nice to be around when everyone else's journey finally comes to an end and they get their good ...

Re: Application time Analysis

Thanks, I am probably a little confused here still, I am not sure what else this application time analysis was for, but I did send in a FBR application in Aug of 2018... not sure which that would be in response to your last point "made or decided", think it is the made, and not the decided...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

I did the same in Feb, after not getting anywhere on the phone, I sent an email and got a standard reply that it is being processed as usual and I will hear from them if they need anything more from me. I am still curious about the whole "second letter" thing. I would love to hear from any...

Re: Second Stage letter

Can anyone tell me if all applicants would receive a second stage letter? I am in the US, sent application with fees to FBR in Dublin on Aug 10, 2018, got confirmation via email on Aug 23, 2018 that application was received. Nothing since. Just wondering if some do not ever receive a second letter o...

Re: Application time Analysis

Does that time frame seem correct to you for 2018 processing? There are a number of 2018 applicants that are still waiting, mine was received and acknowledged in August 2018, no word since then for me.

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Thank you for your response, mine was received Aug 23 2018. I sent an email to the FBR in Feb and was told no way to track: From: fbrclarification@dfa.ie Date: 2/25/19 7:31 AM (GMT-08:00) To: Subject: FBR 147889 Dear K Unfortunately, it is not possible at present to give you an indication of the tim...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Can someone help, some say they are receiving confirmation that things are moving along, I sent my application with all docs and payment Aug 2018, shortly after I received an email stating they had received the docs and accepted them. I have heard nothing since. I also am unsure if I am posting in t...
