Just to say, when I queried why I was being charged for the visa the lady at VFS checking my paper work told me that the visa was indeed free. Schenghen visa to Belgium

Hi, I would like to visit Belgium with my British husband. I have ILR and a zimbabwean passport. I know I need our marriage certificate, his passport and my passport to apply . Question is , do I need to book the eurostar and have confirmation of this or do I need to show hotel reservations??? Thanks.

Hi my parents won their appeal (visitors visa) on 20 November and received the call letter at the end of january. i am assuming there was a slight delay due to the xmas week. we didnt email or call them , they received a letter in the post . hope this helps and congrats !!

HI I applied in Jan 08 as an overstaying spouse. I have the same letter saying my case will be dealt with by July 2010. Mine is with LCC2. On the other forum board there are quite a few members with similar letters, some have December 2009 as the deadline and some Feb 2010 so i guess it all depends ...

I think its a yr after 14yr rule. I reckon in this case its 5yrs coz it was decided under the legacy criteria. I know the OP said it wasnt a legacy case but he did once claim asylum and all those getting ILTR qualify after 5yrs so this is the only logical explanation I can think of. 4444 whats yr op...

CHIKWAMBA CASE

Does anyone know the answer to this - If an overstayer is successful in a spouse application based on chikwamba is the visa likely to be Discretionary Leave or a Spouse Visa? Also if my 13yr old receives DL based on my application what will happen to her when she becomes 18 and has not yet qualified...
