Naturalisation application status check?

Hi all, My wife handed in her naturalisation application last December and it's been over 6 months, but haven't got any news from the Home Office. There was an email address I used to check the status of my application back in 2022. However, the said email address is not available anymore and switch...

Re: Travelling with BNO passport after Citizenship Ceremony

Thanks for the response. I followed the advice and actually, it was very smooth coming through the border with BNO, the officer didn't ask any questions nor ask me for the Certificate. Hope this will be helpful for any other BNO holders becoming BC in the future.

Travelling with BNO passport after Citizenship Ceremony

Hi, I have attended a British citizenship ceremony but need to travel very soon before I can apply for a British Passport. I am holding a BN(O) passport and my immigration adviser says that I can travel with my BN(O). Since the BRP will become invalid, how can I be sure there will be no problem ente...

ILR for PBS Dependant set O

There is NO financial or maintenance requirement for Set O and your employment is irrelevant. Hi, I am working on my wife's SET(O) form. If there is no financial requirement for PBS dependant 5 years route. Does it mean I should choose "NO" for the document section: "Does the account...

Naturalisation application question - Freelance/self-employment during Tier 5, prior to Tier 2 VISA

Hi all, I am filing my Naturalisation application after I have got my ILR for over a year now. The naturalisation application form requires me to give information about my employment for up to 10 years. I have a Tier 5 VISA before I have got my Tier 2 VISA with my current employer. During the Tier 5...

Covid - Spouse visa extension

Hi,

My wife's current PBS dependant visa is due to expire in May 2020.

I saw the Home Office Guidance, but it hasn't mentioned anything about any extension of the deadline of application yet. Is there somewhere else I should look at?

Thanks!

Re: Spouse's VISA extension while applying for own ILR

Hi, found these two statements on the board and a gov.uk document. Does it mean that after I have my ILR, and even my current PBS Tier 2 General is expired in May 2020, my wife can still extend her VISA as a PBS dependant? https://www.immigrationboards.com/immigration-for-family-members/dependants-o...

Re: Spouse's VISA extension while applying for own ILR

Why do you want to apply for extsnion now, almost a year early?? I am personally entitled to apply for ILR now, and if my wife's VISA expire in May 2020, she is still not yet entitled to apply for ILR. I have been told by two different solicitors that she will then have to start over the 5 year res...

Re: Spouse's VISA extension while applying for own ILR

She has to apply on the pbs dependent form for an extsnsion. Do you mean I should make a separate application for her? But is it possible to submit my ILR application and her dependant VISA application at the same time? When does her visa expire? Her current PBS Dependant VISA expire in May 2020. M...

Spouse's VISA extension while applying for own ILR

Hi, I am preparing to apply for my ILR soon. My wife has been my spouse under my Tier 2 VISA since 2015, however she won't meet the 5 years requirement for ILR while both our Tier 2 / dependant VISA are ultimately expired. I am filling the online application form for myself. I noticed that I can add...
