Hi

Thank you for your reply. I got my ILR on 26/02/2010 last year so according to the HO website I can apply through the AN form after 27/02/2011 (exactly 1 year on).

What other conditions are there? Is it just that you should not be out of the country for 90 days in a row etc..??

When to apply for naturalisation - Help!

On 26/02/2011 it will be 1 year since I got my ILR. I know after 1 year on ILR I am eligible to apply for naturalisation... but do I apply 28 days before or exactly on that date? Do I just fill the AN form and then wait for them to get back to me? What is the whole procedure? Any help would be appre...

Hi

Ok... I will ask my company to dig my old work permit application form out and see how much the difference was. I will also ask them why this was the case. Thats all I can do, I guess, for now.

Also, do we have to inform the home office of any changes in salary? I got a raise of about 16% over a period of 2 and a half years time. But my...

Because no one is replying and it goes right to the bottom of the queue before no one even notices it. Why is there a problem?

Type: VISA WORK PERMIT
Obsrv. No recourse to public funds Work and any changes must be authorised.

Does that mean I am on a multiple visa work permit or a normal work permit that leads to ILR????

Hi Paul, No I think that is not true. From what I have gathered you are allowed no more than 3 months in any given year and then 6 months in total in the whole of 5 years. So basically you are only allowed to take the annual paid leave you get every year from your company. I know a lot of people are...

ILR - What is 5 year "continuous" stay?

To my understanding qualifying period for ILR for work permit holders is 5 years, and we are permitted short absences abroad provided that these absences do not exceed 3 months duration in any given year, and they do not amount to more than 6 months in all. If I am on holiday for 8 months in total i...

ILR - QUESTION ABOUT ELIGIBILITY

This might come as a silly question to people who already know but I am a bit confused. I complete 5 years on my work permit in 2010 by which time I can apply for ILR. What is continous stay in UK? Some say you are only allowed 6 months leave in the whole of these 5 years outside UK and 3 months at ...
