Re: More than a year since citizenship application

I was in same boat. Mid July 2022 to Mid August 2022 mostly got this IT issue. I got mine after 13 months finally. Got the biometrics email atleast 4 times, but once I contacted HO, they always said its IT issue and no need to do again. Keep hope. Congratulations on getting out of this black hole! ...

Re: More than a year since citizenship application

I am in the same situation. Applied in August 2022. Biometrics taken in October 2022. I was told in February 2023 that all is in order, but sometimes things take longer. In September I was told my biometrics were never taken. I sent proof that I had attended. Sopra Steria UKCVAS replied to my enqui...

More than a year since citizenship application

I applied in July 2022 for naturalisation after having ILR for more than a year. My application hasn't been processed yet. In Jan 2023 I received an email informing that the application cannot be processed within six months due to an "IT issue". I raised the issue with MP and nationality e...

@sequoia

You do not need to print any soft copies. UKVCAS check if your documents uploaded are legible, if not they may scan them for you.
You do not need a hard copy from your employer if you already have a soft copy
Thank you!

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I have applied for ILR under Tier 2 5 year route and have uploaded my documents on UKVCAS. I have arranged an appointment to enrol biometrics later this week. My employer human resource department is currently working remotely due to COVID-19 and they have sent me a signed employer letter as PDF. Th...

Near fixed term contract end date

Hi, I am eligible for applying for ILR in the first week of January next year through Tier 2(General) route as I am completing my 5 years on 25th January 2021. I am currently on a fixed term contract until 28-February-2021. My employer has provided me a letter with the following text "holds a f...

Re: Tier 2 dependent

Does the time spent on Tier 2 dependent visa count towards the 5 years requirement for ILR? No it does not. Or does the clock reset with a new visa? Yes, you would start from scratch. I just would like to ask this in a different way. Is there any possible way to switch from a Tier 2 dependent visa ...

Does time spent on Tier 2 dependent visa count towards ILR application?

Hello,

I am currently on a Tier 2 dependent visa. However, I now have a choice to change to either Tier 1 (exceptional promise) or Tier 2 general PBS visa. Does the time spent on Tier 2 dependent visa count towards the 5 years requirement for ILR? Or does the clock reset with a new visa?

Thank you
