i received my passport with visa stamped for 2 years.

CD, Hold on, it just says "shipment delivered"...But the EC is through only when the visa is stamped..i say this cos my friend had got the same message last month and tght it is success. but later when the parcel reached him, he came to know it got rejected & there was a letter statin...

The status of my app has been changed to "The shipment has been delivered on 29/12/2007".

What does this mean? Where has it been delivered?

What is the size of the photo to be submitted for visa. The application form says 45*35mm, but when i went to get the photo clicked, i was told that the size of photo for uk visa is 50*50mm.

I am planning to apply for EC in the first week of November. My friend in uk will sponsor my accomodation there. Is there any particular format for the letter which he has to give? Can someone share this format.
