Just heard the news this morning, while my income is only £35,000 the wife also earns £28,000 but is self employed. We will be applying for ILR in the summer of 2024. On a scale of 1/10 - How worried do we need to be?

Hi, We had the good news on Friday 2nd 12:00 Peru time. Our Spouse VISA application was successful. We are just a bit concerned that we have not had any request to collect her passport. We are just worried about the passport. We had the PDF email now 4 days ago (2 working days), but no clue as to when her passport can be collected. We have not been informed by VFS collect?

Online application made on 16th May 2019
Biometric attended by spouse on 20th May
Supporting documents submitted on 21st May
Case Handler acknowledgement on 19th June
Decision 'Success' on 2nd August (week 11 out of 12)

Wow, yeh... I was hoping that wasn't the case but it makes sense. Even though I submitted the supporting evidence the day after she had her biometric meeting, 4 weeks seems like a long time to filter through.
