ILR for spouse - co-habitation proof - Rental agreement

Hi I am plan to apply for ILR on Dec 2012 for me, my wife and kid all together. At the moment I have rented a flat. Myself and my wife, kid are living there for past 4 years. But the rental agreement is only on my name. Will this be a problem while applying ILR? Should I have to include my wife's na...

Thanks sushdmehta Hi avjones. I got my hsmp on Dec2007 and entered UK around Aprl 2008. I renewed my visa to tier 1 on Dec 2009. The current rules seems to suggest that if any one got tier 1 between march 2009 to april 1010 (not sure of exact dates any way doesn't matte rin my case), then next renew...

HSMP->Tier1->Tier2->ILR

I entered UK under HSMP, I got extended in to tier 1 last year. But I won't be completing 4 years and 11 months towards the end of my current tier 1 visa. I am 3 months short of completing 4 years and 11 months, because I entered 3 months later after my initial HSMP visa granted. I doubt if I can ma...

Tier1 MAC Dec 2009 publication. Info for existing immigrants

I thought this will be a useful information from the Migration Advisory Comittee recommendation of changes to Tier1 system. Certainly a point for existing immigrants in tier1 looking to extend. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/documents/aboutus/workingwithus/mac/pbsanalysis-09/041209/ma...

Re: hsmp+ tier 1 general + workpermit = ILR?

I entered UK 2 months after my first hsmp visa (2 years) was issued. Now I have applied for tier 1 extension as my hsmp visa is about to expire and I will get for 3 years tier 1 extension if successful. When my tier 1 extension ends after 3 years I will be 2 months short for applying ILR. Not sure ...

I could use postal order or cheque/banker's draft. But my visa is expiring very soon. I didn't want the payment to delay and not give me a 2nd chance if things do not go well and I get a rejection. Just a safety measure. If I use credit/debit card I could track the payment and confirm if it went fin...

>You can use Visa cards as per application form

I know this. Just wanted to get confidence from someone who has done so before (i.e., used indian credit card for payment of tier 1 extn). Didn't want the payment fail again.
