My welsh passport expired and I had to apply for a English passport to live in England.

You will need a visa to cross the border from Scotland to England.

You can apply for a border-transit visa by contacting the english consulate in Scotland.

Thank you.

Passport Application - Dates mix up

Hello, I think I've made a major mistake in my passport application. I have dated the application after the countersignatury's date. Will this cause problems or does it depend on the IPS caseworker ? If my application is rejected because of this, do I have to re-send all documents or just send a new...

If your passport is non-EEA you are still regarded as "All other passports" for queuing purposes UNLESS travelling with a spouse/partner who is an EEA national.
So when they scan my ILR they would know im a British Citizen right ?

Thanks.

Is there any disadvantage to just continue using the separate Permanent Resident certificate? After all, it has no expiry date on it.

None at all.
Just the convenience of having it endorsed. Or else when you travel, you have to carry the passport and ILR separately. It could get lost dude.

Hello,

What counts as a relative ? Is it blood relative or any family link ?

Does your parent's second cousin's husband count as relative for referee purposes ?

Thanks.
