Switch from tier 1 ent to skilled worker

Hi everyone. I am on my tier 1 extension. And technically i would be able to apply for ilr next February (2025). But I had more than 180 days of absence during COVID. I couldn't come here as I had covid and then was not certified fit to travel by my doctor. I had about 4 months of absence on top of ...

Re: Credit sales: Tier 1 entrepreneur extension

Hi Marcnath. Pardon me for the late reply. I have been on a tour and was giving this a thought as well. I'm very confused on what to do. Cuz there are a few reasons I want to get ILR and not extension. First is the employee salary. I don't want to keep one of the employees even now but I have to bec...

Re: Credit sales: Tier 1 entrepreneur extension

Hi, If I apply on 20th April, take my biometrics in say a month.. let's say 1st of June for the sake of conversation and get my decision in another 3 months i.e. 1st of September. If the decision is negative? What are my options? How do i delay this till next February/January when I'll be eligible f...

Re: Credit sales: Tier 1 entrepreneur extension

Thanks Marcnath! You mentioned the worst case is losing the fees. I'm not bothered about that if the reward is ILR. But my question is isn't the worst case my file getting messed up? My current visa expires on 20th April 2025. Say if my ILR is rejected, what do I do after that? Do I continue applyin...

Re: Credit sales: Tier 1 entrepreneur extension

Hello Marcnath. I got my visa in less than a month after Biometrics. There was no additional document asked or interview. I was tensed for no reason. I guess when the business is genuine, you don't need to worry! Thank you very much for all your help and inputs. I want to ask a bit about my future a...

But how do i prove their status otherwise? He is on Italian passport. The home office letter mentions he has a settled status but on second page it also says "This letter is your written notification of leave, which you may wish to keep for your personal records, but it is not proof of your sta...

Re: Credit sales: Tier 1 entrepreneur extension

Hi Marcnath. I have uploaded all documents and mr biometrics is in few days but I have an issue with a document. I have an employee who is from Italy and has settled status in the UK. I checked his right to work at the time. But I somehow can't find the right to work document. I don't know how i los...

Re: Credit sales: Tier 1 entrepreneur extension

Ah okay! Thank you so much Marcnath. Even if they ask me bank statements, I'll provide an explanation that I transferred the money on 17th evening but bank date will be next working day. Anyway you mentioned the date shouldn't be an issue. Even if they consider 20th, i have invested everything and h...

Re: Credit sales: Tier 1 entrepreneur extension

Marcnath! Exactly! The case worker guidance says it must be shown in business bank accounts too. While the guidance doesn't. The HO staff will basically use case worker guidance isn't it? And refuse application if documents are missing according to their guidance. I don't understand why are they bot...

Re: Credit sales: Tier 1 entrepreneur extension

Thanks Marcnath. Just two follow up question. The latest case worker (home office staff) guide updated on 6th October stil says that business bank accounts need to be sent along with other proofs for investment after may '15. (Doesn't mention anything about application s after 19th Nov 2015) ....whi...

Re: Credit sales: Tier 1 entrepreneur extension

Perfect thank you Marcnath! Also do i necessarily need to send business bank statements for investment entries? Or only unaudited accounts with compilation report and directors loan agreement is okay? (Without sending business bank statements since my application is after 19th November 2021). Also c...

Re: Credit sales: Tier 1 entrepreneur extension

Hi Marcnath. I had a chat with you long time back about investment and you told me it had to be made till last date of your extension. So I was under impression that my last date is 17th based on my BRP. And 20th goes outside that period which basically means any investment after 17th would fall out...

Re: Credit sales: Tier 1 entrepreneur extension

(Edited from above) But the statement that goes with the file will show 20th. How do I prove that they were made on 17th? (Before my last day on brp) The only document i can give is bank statement which won't reflect this fact. What are the Ho rules about this? Will i be short of £50k then? What if ...

Re: Credit sales: Tier 1 entrepreneur extension

Right! Thanks Marcnath. That's a good news. And its good they understand that sime business can be having loss for few years and gradually achieve better results. Although I find it weird when you said business don't need to exist. The whole point of this visa is to give it to people with continued...

Re: Credit sales: Tier 1 entrepreneur extension

Thank you Marcnath. I hope if they feel something is off, they hear me out and I can hopefully explain them. Can I also ask how much of a problem a failed business is? I mean I wouldn't call my business a failed business as its still running. But since I started about covid time there haven't been r...

Hi.. My Payroll have been running for 14-15 months and still running. Before that it was covid so ai couldn't really afford to have an employee! Hi Marcnath. Thank you for you reply! I know its not a part of point based system. My investments, payroll are clear and easy but they also judge whether the business is genuine or not right. I have seen one application from 2016 on this forum who had a similar problem amongst few other problems and...

Re: Your Visa Application: VAF xxxxxx - Additional Documents Required (what should I write in subject line)

Hey.

1. Standard.

2. Got the visa in about 2 weeks after sending documents.

3. No idea but it should ideally be the same more or less.

4. Passport collection directly

5. Nothing about approval or rejection. Just standard email.

I’m not sure about priority but for me it took like 2 weeks for visa to be processed. Best to wait for few more days.
