I googled CCL but their website doesn't seem to be online anymore.
Here is the report though,

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/engl ... 113558.stm

Its from June 2009 saying the decision will come out the following month i.e. July 09 but I assume there is no decision yet.

I don't think you have to bring X-rays with you, they will probably do it at the airport. I remember they did my X-rays at Heathrow when I first arrived in UK, and it was free.

rajamehmood and meats, you both need to go out together and have a few drinks. That will sort both of you out.

I would love to buy it for you but I am too far.

Query regarding start date of validity of UK visa

Hello Guys Does anyone know if its possible for the validity of granted visa to be starting from a date later than the day its granted ? If you were a genuine student of CCL and the degree you got from there is also genuine, then there is no need to worry. CCL got blacklisted or whatever is none of your fault/headache. You can always explain this to the Home Office, if ever needed. Remember the golden rule, if you have nothing to hid...

I don't see it as discrimination either. There might be individual cases where the ECO made a wrong judegement but blaming Home Office for picking on Pakistanis is simply not true. As for the large percentage of Pakistani applications being rejected, I rather see it as Home Office doing their work p...

You can't go to a country other than your home country as far as I understand. You will need a visa first of all which you can't get given your current status in UK and then, there is also a chance you might be denied entry at the airport even if you have a visa. Home Office guys would have to be ve...
