jesus you must be around a lot of idiots then. a majority of Irish citizens are pro europe, the euro polls will show this. never mind, shouting is all they can do, no substance when they are challenged about their ill formed views. Definitely not an educated elite, but if I had an euro for every ti...

Re: Confidentiality Agreement for E.U1 Settlement?

I was informed by our solicitor that the Department of Justice through it's solicitors have offered us a full 5year E.U FamStamp4, in return for our agreeing that they are not at fault and a confidentiality agreement. They also agreed only to a limited amount for our solicitors fees...this seems to...

if they do change the "rules", does anyone know if couples who have already been rejected (and received stamp 3) can re-apply? It'd be stupid if they do this... They already have everything in record, if they just request people that had already sent their paperwork to send it again - mea...

Thats pretty much what it is. I think its funny when you run across those irish types that seem to think that Ireland is the "richest" country in the world. Where did they get that? Tis a good country, don't get me wrong - but the processes and procedures are in the dark ages. Example: Do...

Hope it works out for you both, and your wife gets well! :) If it comes to gathering public support, last thing I want to seem is someone just trying to get their own situation sorted by screwing ot...

She doesn't actually have to go through with it. The Irish American lobby seems to have Bertie Ahern's ear and if she wrote to them that she would do her best to get them arrested in the U.S unless they can convince Ahern to change his government's policy regarding her situation in Ireland. Yeah, b...

It's got the inbreeding and corruption but at least your entire salary doesn't go to buying a house and the drink is cheap in Alabama. Drink wasn't all that cheap actually, their tax was pretty step. Probably cheap ER than here if nothing else due to the dollar-euro rate though :D Property prices a...

Re: Damages in refusal of EU residency cases.

Damages have been sought in a number of recent judicial review "leave" cases where EU residency has been refused. It would be important in these cases to be able to show actual damages. Well, I think a year of inactivity is damage enough - No income produced means that we had to manage on...
