Thanks JG I'll give it a shot. As long as it comes back should there be an issue or I'll have a couple of aunts, providers of original documents, out to get me(!). Remember to photocopy EVERYTHING you send! They seem to send all certs back from what I've followed from people's comments. jgclancy

I applied for Foreign Birth Registration on 17th September 2018 and received my FBR Certificate on 13th September 2019. I originally applied to the Irish Embassy in London. News: My cousin Laura got her FBR and applied for her passport also. Apparently just after my application was submitted, they changed the requirements! She had 4 sets of photos rejected. CVS used the irish and american standards and all rejected. No further info is known currently, second hand info...
