I have attended the citizenship ceremony on June 20th and want to apply for my passport but cannot figure out if my citizenship certificate will be returned to me when I send it in for my passport application.
Where is the venue in Killarney for the ceremony? Do you know if it's on the weekends or would it be midweek? Asking because I'm starting a new job and I will only have weekends off
Hello all, I've applied for my naturalisation in January 2022 and received a letter on Friday to send two documents back: - A police certificate from my home country from when I lived there back in 2018-2019, - A Garda vetting form. The Garda vetting form specifically says where to send it back to (...
Hello all, Long story short we are all EU citizens living here since 2006. My dad has been arrested two years ago and had to pay €700 compensation to a guard he apparently injured (please don't ask what happened I wasn't there). There is now criminal record on his file. On the other hand there is me...
So I have applied for my Irish citizenship in January 2022 but in the meantime one of my references (1 out of 3) changed their phone number. Is there a way for me to contact the office dealing with naturalisation applications to notify them of this change?
Hi there folks, I hope we are all doing great. I am writing to you all with a question. My wife is a non-EU citizen and resides here with me in Ireland for the last 2 years. OP, to answer your question, yes the visas are still being processed. My wife just got her visa approved today. She applied for it in very late february. So we have been waiting roughly two months. I am EU and she is non-EU. Hope this helps.
Hello all, My wife got her single journey visa approved until July 21st but as we all know, the current situation with covid-19 has imposed flight restrictions on many countries in Europe. If she comes in July (Say July 15th when we hope the flight restrictions will be lifted), is she still eligible...
Dear all, I hope you are doing fine. Apologies if this thread has been already going around but I have tried searching but without success. My wife (non EU) has applied for her visa yesterday to join me (EU) in Ireland. Could someone please guide me in the right direction as to the documents she nee...
Hi All, Glad to have found this forum and hopefully I will be able to get some things clear. Just before we start I want to mention that I have read literally every possible link on the inis.gov.ie. but some things are still unclear to me. Anyway, let's get started. I am a Polish citizen currently l...
