Pending existing application if laws changes

Hello,

Can somebody enlighten me about what happened, if somebody's application was submitted say 2 years ago and still underconsideration and the law change say today.

My question is: will the application be based on todays law or will it be based on the date that the application was submitted?

fczenit first of all congratulations.

At anytime did you or your solicitor ever got in touch with bia to check the progression of your application?

Also did you submit proof for every single years or every single month of the 14 years that you were here in uk?
