2137 Web Developer SOL

I received info from a company that 2137 Web Developer will be added to Shortage Occupation List on 6 Oct 2019. I tried searching online and found this article Solicitor weblink removed by moderator . This says that it has already been added to SOL on 9th Sep 2019. But the official list here does no...

Re: ILR - Letter from company - Parent/subsidiary confusion

Ok thanks!

My current company is quite large and used immigration lawyers when applying for Visa. So surely the subsidiary must have been included in the parents license.

I will make sure that is the case for the new employer and its parent.

Thanks!

ILR - Letter from company - Parent/subsidiary confusion

I am working on a Tier-2 General Visa in company X. But my Visa is sponsored by company Y which is parent company of X. I worked there over 5 years but my salary is below 35,800 so I am unable to apply for ILR. So I found a new job at company P which does not have a sponsorship license but its paren...

Re: Can dependents stay until decision is made?

Thanks great, thanks for the info. You saved me £800 for super priority service :)

I will make sure I have the salary slip and bank statements with salary from new employer.

Many thanks for quick responses!

Re: Can dependents stay until decision is made?

Ok. thats great! I had one roommate in the past who got his ILR 3.5 months after application. So I was thinking of the worst scenario. Also my current salary is £35,400. So I am switching to a new company in September where my salary will increase to £40,000. I have read that salary increases just b...

Re: Can dependents stay until decision is made?

No, my wife will have completed 2.5 years in the UK in October and my daughter was born last year. So she would have only completed 1 year in the UK. So as per what I have read they cannot apply for ILR at this stage and will have to extend their Tier-2 Dependent Visa. Only when they complete 5 year...

Can dependents stay until decision is made?

I have Tier-2 General Visa expiring in Jan 2020 and my wife and daughter are with me on Tier-2 Dependent Visa with the same expiry date. I will be applying for ILR in October 2019. I know I can stay and work in the UK until I get a decision for my ILR even after my Visa a expired. But what about my ...

Tier-2 Visa - restricted or unrestricted?

I am trying to switch jobs and my prospective employer said that they can sponsor me a Visa only if I have and unrestricted Tier-2 General visa. I am unsure how I can find this as my BRP/CoS does not mention anything like this. I checked the definitions here: https://workpermit.com/immigration/unite...
