hi vnvijay, This will be treated as additional evidence and will not be considered. The only way is to explain as clearly as possible the circumstance why this should be given exceptional consideration, and apply for a review. If that does not work, I am afraid you might have to make a fresh applica...

Hi Bhumi,

Please note that they never tell the decision in the email, only that "a decision has been taken on your application".

And recently they have stopped telling decisions on phone, so I am waiting for my documents to arrive to know the decision.

Reference number

Hi Bhumi, That is really strange. I guess in my case even paying through DD it got cleared within 7 days. A CC should help expediting the payment process. :? I think you should call again and specifically ask for a reference number. However, note that sometimes they directly mail that a decision has...

Hi Sagar, Please find comments inline: My friend did not send his Masters degree convocation as he has not collected the convocation certificate from his University, instead he sent his Masters marks sheet. This should not work, I am not sure how he got 30 points on this. I specifically remember rea...

Using MailBoxes Etc for documents pickup

Hi Friends, I have read on the forum that MailBoxes Etc, is a good way of getting your documents and decision letter back from the Home Office. However, I am a little confused over which courier service (out of DHL, FedEx and UPS) to use for this purpose. Please contribute with your valuable feedbac...

Decision not known yet

Hi Pawan,

I do not know the decision yet. The mail just says that a decision has been taken.

They have stopped telling decisions on phone.

I will come to know the decision once I receive the documents.

Thanks for your tips on the courier.

FLR

Hi Ent, First of all congrats for the approval. I have a doubt from your post, you said all you have to do now is to apply for FLR. Does everyone have to apply for FLR once HSMP is approved? My understanding was that once you get approval, you just need to apply for EC either with or without a job. ...

Hi Sudhi, That was lightening quick. They arrived at a decision in just a day!!! My application reached them on the 29th, 5 days after yours. But I have not even received the reference number yet. I guess, the reason is I used a demand draft for payment, which takes around a week to clear. Anyways, ...

To my understanding, it is only a Exceptional Consideration document, when we are unable to give any of the Birth Certificate and Driving Licence. Thats correct Tilak. Original driving license is enough for age proof. Notarized copy can only be used in case of exceptional consideration. Whether the...

Wife on dependant visa, no job at present

Hi, I am planning to apply for HSMP soon. My plan is to try for jobs from India and then get an EC, apply for my wife as a dependant and leave for the UK along with her. Is it possible to do things this way? Whatever posts I have seen on this group, people go to the UK on HSMP, work for some time an...
