Hi hsmphsmp,

Good for you that VFS accepted your original DL. I did not find VFS too consistent in dealing with various cases.

Anyways, good luck with your EC. Keep all in the loop.

Hi Folks, Going by the timelines of the Royalmail delivery I would recommend people to arrange for a courier pickup of your documents once a decision is taken. In my case I went through Mail Boxes Etc Sheffield and got my docs in less than a week. Let me know if you need info about how to go about t...

HI GMR, From the other posts on the forum I can see that it takes around 2 weeks after Integra verification to get the EC, I am just hoping something happens by Mid Jan, so I can plan my trip better. To answer your question, I showed the following heads for proof of funds: 1) Bank savings account ( ...

Hi Dev,

You must have got a receipt from VFS when you applied for EC.

On that you will get your reference number. Use that and the DOB to get instant status.

Hey Irshad, Thanks for your reply. I submitted DL for the very reason that I do not have my birth certificate with me. And so is the case with other people submitting the driving license. Birth certificate is the 'ultimate' age proof. Unfortunately, people might not have it either in the right condi...

Hi Rely,

So you have already applied for your EC without the original full driving licence?

What was the outcome, did you get in touch with the BHC to inform about this anomaly?

Hi pshirdi, This has been discussed umpteen number of times on the group. I would suggest searching on the forum before firing a new query. Anyways, the answer is you cannot split the 12 months, they have to be 12 consecutive months out of the last 15 months. Can it be any 12 months period. Ex: can ...

Hi Vajid, You need to submit payslips for 12 consecutive months out of the last 15 months. I am afraid you cannot pick non-consecutive months for this. In case you are not getting enough points for HSMP approval, then I would suggest wait till you cross the threshold, since the guidelines on this ar...

hi Parry,

I do not have information about postal order.

But I can tell you for sure regarding demand draft. I myself paid through it and got approval.

You can get it made in State Bank of India Forex Branch. Enquire at any SBI branch to find out the Forex branch in your city.

Hi Parry, Just go to any nationalized bank, and get a demand draft for 400GBP. You do not have to get a UK postal order specifically. Be informed though that the DD takes a week to clear, so the decision on your application will be delayed accordingly. If you have some friend with an international c...
