if u've got a HSMP visa(not to be confused with tier1), then maintainenance of funds rule is not applicable for you. This rule is applicable only for all tier 1 applicants and applicants those who applied for EC with hsmp approval letter.

For more clarity enquire your nearest VFS.

simple, go and book a hotel thru booking.com for 2 weeks, they dont charge u anything and if u want to cancel it, do it before ur travel. u can attach that along with ur application. dont forget to read the cancellation rules of the hotel u select. most of the hostel charge 1 night charge for no show.

@amittal5,
to make it simple, only the amount which is shown in ur salary slip is considered by the HO. Per diem may not be considered for the reasons given by susdmehta.

as told above, for the reimbursements part, it can be taken for calculation only if it is shown in the sal slip.

sorry i forgot to mention. so far i've seen cases only from india who get exception for maintenance of funds, as suggested by sushdmehta it is better to write to the local VFS/UKBA to verify whether this is applicable globally.

Going thru employee references is very few, so u can remember those easily. Job of agencies is to remember u, otherwise they dont have their busi...

@deacon1blues, ur approach seems to be one of the few available strategies. no harm. from ur previous posts, u seem to have a fair idea on the situation as well. but only thing i differ with u is, 7hrs work and 4 hrs search. i'd suggest the reverse. And one more thing, work out on the strategies to ...

u r asking me?? it took almost 50 days to get my first offer, wait time varies, and the job i am sitting now took 65 days.

u shud be able to a get an offer in 2 to 2.5 months on a average, but again it all depends on ur skills aswell.

I am looking for work from past 2months..I am getting a minimum of 5 calls per day.. 5 calls per day is gud, u may get it initially but it may slow down over a period of time. u'll get calls as long as recruiters finds ur profile on their search. so the trick is keep updating ur profile quite often...
