@nitin: Most of the docs that i included in my baby's application were not mentioned as mandatory. My suggestion is, apart from submitting the reqd docs, if you submit extra supporting docs it makes your application more genuine and easier for the caseworker to decide on your application.

altogether you can't be away for more 180 days during your five-year staying in UK which started on 12 Sep 2010 Wrong!! Per current rules of ILR, you shouldn't be out of UK for more than 450 days in 5 year preceeding ILR application. Also you shouldn't be out of UK for more than 90 days in 5th Year...

I have been reviewing the UK home office website links provided in this forum but could not find on where exactly it was mentioned that only 5400 tier1 visas will be granted during this 9 month period?? if you get the bank seal, u wont have any problems. but see if you can request the bank for a duplicate statement. i did the same, bank issued me a statement in a plain paper on which i got a bank seal.

May have worked for the other guy, but it may not work for you. Besides, no two cases are exactly alike. Sometimes if you get a caseworker who oversees a point or two, you may get thru.
