Re: Which months of the year that ceremony usually take place, please

Typically April, May(happened once), June, September, October, November(happened because of a October ceremony cancelled), and December

I personally would not rely on this and as they have had secret ceremonies before.

Re: INIS treating Pakistanis and Africans differently?

The man from the article was given a ticket over ten years ago with the cop claiming his disc is expired he peeled it out and said it was not. They went to court together and he was told to pay anyways. He applied for citizenship and was denied 10 years ago for a record. He then was given a wait ti...

Re: INIS treating Pakistanis and Africans differently?

Even though they say 6 months. Honestly it’s more like 2 years.

I will say I feel British, Americans and some eu countries seem to get priority.

Re: IRISH CITIZENSHIP FOR CHILDREN

Thank you for your reply. Could you please let me know that after how many years they can apply? Is it 3 or 5 years? For the spouse it is 3 years but I am not sure about the children. Please tell. You lived in Ireland for 5 years and your children were living with you doing that time. Since they we...

Re: Citizenship Revoked Experience!?

No he wouldn’t get his citizenship revoked for divorce. If he entered the marriage for sole reason to get citizenship then maybe.

Re: Citizenship applications from 2017 pending approval

I sympathize to those waiting. I myself applied in July 2017 and received my approval at the end of June. Then this delay happened. If not this ceremony I assume you will be amongst the next one

I to was surprised when I seen 2018 and 2019 applicants getting approved.

Re: Court rules "continuous residence" means you CANNOT LEAVE IRELAND AT ALL for year before application

Perhaps they still kept the original 9th of Dec booking of the venue and will do the ceremony on that day? I agree I wouldn’t empathize the 4 week notice. Also they may not announce it. Or they already have their list This is still the very unpredictable department. People have been given 3 days no...

Re: Citizenship Approvals

Why not use existing timeline threads? Because those are timeline threads. Other threads have always existed about upcoming ceremonies. I don’t know why u are bothered by this one Because what you're asking for is people to post the same information twice. Once in the timeline thread of when you go...

Re: Court rules "continuous residence" means you CANNOT LEAVE IRELAND AT ALL for year before application

I kept emphasising that the deciding people's fate based on Dictionaries is “unworkable”, “overly literal”, “unduly rigid” and gives rise to an “absurdity” and now finally the court has also realised that. But still, there is no proper guideline regarding the 6 weeks absence rule, whether the minis...

I’ve blamed the Aussie guy and his lawyer too. Literally caused thousands to be delayed. He could have just waited a year but he thought and his lawyer thought they were doing something

Re: Court rules "continuous residence" means you CANNOT LEAVE IRELAND AT ALL for year before application

There are approx 20,000 people. I think the figure 200 is too low. This board hasn’t seen much action since 2017. So that number is much higher. Their was suppose to be a ceremony in September so I think theres much more people

This is overall good news. Hopefully it gets things moving.
