how could they be depandant if they are strangers???? it will be just flagging to the Home office about the 7 years and surely you have to prived thousands of documents to prove what ever relationship they have is consistant.
how did you send the application? recorded delivery? if yes you can track with post office online if it has been sighed for by the home office? also check the payemnts? did you pay by cheque? you can cheque the bank statement to see when the money is taken out of your account
I have been waiting for my flr m form since oct 08, I am sure they are taking a very long time, you best bit is to ring the home office and explain to them as they may send you a letter to let you carry on working while they looking at your case

as part of my marriage, if the application is accepted they will automatically give me the right to work as I am married to a british citizen?
