How does this new law effect marriages and spouses already in the country with a 2 year spouse visa, were one is under 21?

I take it this law relates to any new marriage visa applications amde from abroad ? and not those to extend an already issued 2 yr visa.

Just wondering how is it seen if someone goes back to thier home country for a couple of weeks (attend a wedding) after getting a spouse visa to the UK. Especially if the person has entered the UK only a few months ago?

Haing clicked on your link above I have read that the new date for accepting the old forms is Nov 16 (press release 02/11/07. I think they have just extended it, so anyone wanting to still use the old one can probabaly be able to do so.

In regards to the passport do you think it would sufficient to get a certficate of some sort form a solictor stating that pages 1 to x are genuine etc . I know people have certified the whole passport , as in every single page, which is expensive. which is better?
