Hi ImmigrationBoard Team, I had a valid tier 2 General visa until 2021 January (For 6 years - 3 years from 2015 & 3 years from 2018 ). 2019 November I was eligible to apply for ILR after completing 5 years of stay at the UK under Tier 2 General and I got my ILR last week. For my tier 2 General v...

Re: PBS Dependant (less than 5 years) visa status after Tier 2 General Main Applicant granted ILR

1. No. No reason to change her visa at all. 2. Irrelevant. She is dependent on you not your tier 2 sponsor. 3. She applies for a 3 year tier 2 dependent pbs extension. 4. No, see #2 above Hi, Thank you very much for your prompt reply. Regrading 3rd point; 3. She applies for a 3 year tier 2 dependen...

Re: ILR Application -When did you first enter the UK (Tier 2 General)

You are confusing two different things completely. Still, I am having confusion with ILR eligible date. Can I apply for the ILR 28 days before 02/12/2019 (After 4/11/2019) or is it 28 days before 13/01/2020 (After 05/12/2019)? You can apply no sooner than within 28 days before the INITIAL START dat...

Re: ILR Application -When did you first enter the UK (Tier 2 General)

Thimira, They only care about the visas that you have been granted so you definitely can apply for ILR by around 06/Nov/2019 onwards and you don't have to worry as this is 100% correct. You may satisfy yourself more by calling UKVI on 03001232241 and pick option 4 then option 1 and they will confir...

Re: ILR Application -When did you first enter the UK (Tier 2 General)

Thanks for the reply and to be honest I am not an expert regarding this subject and that is the main reason I am looking for help here. You are confusing two different things completely. Still, I am having confusion with ILR eligible date. Can I apply for the ILR 28 days before 02/12/2019 (After 4/1...

Hey Devahere, Thanks for the reply! Still, I am having confusion with ILR eligible date. Can I apply for the ILR 28 days before 02/12/2019 (After 4/11/2019) or is it 28 days before 13/01/2020 (After 05/12/2019)? If I use Entered the UK date as of 13/01/2015, does my 5-year calculation started from 1...
