Spouse Visa Renewal Forms

Good day all,

I'm in the process of renewing my spouse's visa and I filled out forms VAF4A and VAF4A Appendix 2 for the original application. Do I need to fill out both forms for the renewal?

Regards.

Re: BRP Collection

Hi, My wife's vignette visa is due to expire before the end of our self isolation. We had issues with our daughter's passport so we had to delay our original return flight to the UK. On the UK Gov website it states that the Post Office will keep the BRP for 90 days and we can collect it after self ...

Replacement Naturalisation Certificate

Good Day all, Apologies if I'm not posting the topic in the right forum. Does anyone know the current timeline or processing time for a replacement aturalisation certificate? I applied for one on 15th of March 2020 online and got confirmation of the application. But I've not had any feedback to date...

Re: NARIC - Statement of Comparability

If all the requirements are met now, go ahead and apply. When TLSContact reopens, an appointment can then be booked to submit biometrics. The application date will be the date the application fee is paid after submitting online regardless of when the VAC opens and the date biometrics are submitted....

Re: NARIC - Statement of Comparability

With regards to the current climate re the covid pandemic, will it make a difference to submit a spouse visa application even though the TSL centre is closed at the moment? The reason for asking is that my wife's TB certificate expires on the 10th of next month and we basically have everything ready...

Re: British Passport for child born abroad

I have split and moved your topic to the British citizen sub forum as it is not relevant to the spouse visa topic or sub forum. I do not recall getting one when I obtained my passport in 2009, and I have come across the requirement in other applications like the Certificate of Entitlement or form M...

Re: NARIC - Statement of Comparability

Hi, Rather than start a new topic, I decided to put my query here as it's related to my wife's spouse visa application I believe. We are expecting our first child next month and we were hoping to begin her application for a spouse visa next month but we have decided to push it back as I'm currently ...

Re: NARIC - Statement of Comparability

Hi, I'm currently going through the VAF4A form, which I believe is similar to the application form for the spouse visa. With regards to the section about medical treatment, my wife did a masters in 2011 under the tier 4 visa, which has a health surcharge if I'm not mistaken. She was registered with...

Re: NARIC - Statement of Comparability

Hello all, rather than start a new topic, I wanted to ask a question regarding income, a follow up to my previous question about income. I started work in the UK on the 11th of September 2019 so we are looking to start the application process on the 11th of March 2020. My annual salary is £29000 bu...

Re: NARIC - Statement of Comparability

Thanks. I was confused due to the fact that my September salary was less than my average monthly salary, so I was assuming that the calculation would be based on it rather than the normal gross salary. It will be calculated based on the lowest gross monthly amount received, but the £1,561.54 you me...

Re: Financial Threshold Requirement For Spouse Visa Application

My question is (my apologies if it's silly), do I need to have at least £18,600 in my account when I apply next year in March? There is no maintenance fund/balance requirement if you are meeting the requirement through working Or do I just need to prove that my annual salary is above the threshold ...

Re: Giving Birth in the UK with a Visitors Visa

Giving birth while in the UK as a visitor (even when the medical bills have been paid), is likely to affect a future visa application as the Home Office may well consider that she failed to declare the true intentions on entering the UK. What is stopping you from applying for a Spouse visa applicat...
