I will be working for sure less than 100 days.
I hope it wouldn't be any issue.
That's not an issue at all.

Re: Apply schengen visa with BRP

So to confirm my Resident permit will be my BRP card number and the expiry date would be 31 Dec 2014. Correct, 31 Dec 2024. One question around share code, I could see the only options that available now are, code for work and code for rent, I could not see anything to prove for the residency. (I m...

Re: Apply schengen visa with BRP

All BRPs will be phased out on 31/12/2024. The valid until is the expiry date on the BRP, as this is the document used by someone residing in the UK with a visa to re-enter the country - when travelling abroad. More instructions on how the new electronic system will operate should be available soon,...

The rule says: The applicant must have earned money in the UK during their last period of permission in the field in which they were previously endorsed"!
You can upload a payslip and the corresponding bank statement to demonstrate this. A letter from the employer is not required.

Re: switching from skilled worker visa

You only can work for your current employer who is sponsoring the SW visa. If you resign you need to wait until the new SW dependant visa is approved to work elsewhere. You cannot work for another employer while this application is pending. Also note that with this change from SW main applicant to S...

Re: Document checklist for visitor visa application and photo

You don't need to attach any bills, those are not useful (read the guidance posted above :!:). I believe that we always should avoid loading these applications with useless documents! To demonstrate the accommodation support you will provide as a sponsor of your brother, you only need to attach a co...

Utility and council tax bills are not proof of residence for this purpose. For a visitor visa application those documents are useless - not ...

Re: Entry Clearance for six months and 14 days only - Permanent Lecturer position in the UK

It can take several months to receive a respond from an administrative review. The Home Office call centre will not fix this issue, and likely you will receive a poor advice from them. You don't need to wait for the visa to expire to apply for an extension, also no need to leave the UK. You can appl...

Re: ILR application preparation

Evidence of immigration status is the BRP!

No issues with mentioning BRP as evidence more than once in the application. One scanned copy uploaded as evidence is enough to verify all the fields.

Re: Start dates for a newcomer

They don't need to modify anything on the CoS, you already used it (no longer valid) and a visa was granted. You can start working after the start date on the CoS, that's acceptable within the rules. The start date is agreed between you and the employer. If it's delayed more than 28 days they need t...

Re: GTV ILR if I leave my KTP position

It's rarely a good idea to assume things related to immigration, or in this case GT endorsements. As commented, these rules are dynamic and constantly changing, but also there is no need to overthink about this. Again, with a GT visa you are free to work for any employer under the current circumstan...

Re: Wrong stamp was given on my passport on arrival

That's not an issue at all, your trips are also recorded electronically. The border officer may have set a wrong month on the stamp and more people got the same during their shift. Nobody will tell you to take or send your passport somewhere to correct that. Nobody at the airport will re-stamp your ...

With a GTV you can do any job, even be self-employed, without telling UKVI or re-applying for a visa. Changing employers doesn't have any impact on future ILR applications. As you rightly pointed out, one of the requirements is to demonstrate earnings in the specialist field at any time during your ...

You still can put all your queries related to the same visa type on this post, no need for a second one. You just need to be clear or more specific on what you want to ask and avoid mixing up things! That "after 6 months" is related to what? her last visit to the UK? visa expiry date? In a...

Re: Can I switch from track 4 (peer review) to track 1(academic position) during the endorsment phase ?

You only will be able to apply for a GT visa after you get endorsement, not before. I don't think it's possible to "switch" from one endorsement route to another, simply because every route has specific requirements. If you want to submit a second endorsement application under a different ...

Re: Entry Clearance for six months and 14 days only - Permanent Lecturer position in the UK

I think this is a case of a mistake from the Home Office. Others here have reported getting a much less validity period on their visas as a consequence of this mistake. You might have needed to report this to UKVI to be corrected as soon as you received your visa and noticed the issue, but I guess t...

Re: Delay on ILR Set(O) Priority Service

I guess they didn't give you specific reasons for the delay. In such case, and assuming that the delay is the Home Office's fault, you might be eligible for a refund of the priority fee paid . Apart from that there's nothing else you can do, wait for a decision. You'll be covered by section 3C of th...

I did a quick maths in this case and OP would be just on time for everything, but I also think it's still possible to apply for ILR and benefit from the date of decision as suggested. The other factor is to confirm with the employer that they are willing to support the ILR application instead of a v...

You need to have a look at the requirements to apply for a Global Talent visa . Re: Applying for UK visit visa outside of home country

I think that wording was revised in one of the last versions published, precisely for the ambiguity of the previous text. If you see the current guidance, paragraph 28 reads: 28. An applicant for an entry clearance must be outside the United Kingdom and Islands at the time of the application. An app...
