Re: UKVI approval but BRP pending - can I travel outside the UK?

You could have submitted the application on your return provided you still have a valid leave until 14th June. A super-priority service is not guaranteed. A number of applicants still get their applications delayed even after paying for such services. The decision is informed by email - you should h...

Re: Extending FLR For Not Passing Life in the UK

If she has a good command in English - e.g. was able to pass an English test - it should be possible to also pass the LIUK. I personally used https://lifeintheuktestweb.co.uk/ to prepare, and it worked. Many here on the forum (and outside) have used the same link to pass the test. I believe the site...

Re: Skilled worker visa - Unpaid voluntary work clarification

I don't think that doing deliveries on Uber to help your brother is voluntary work, it doesn't matter if you don't receive any payment. The principle of volunteering is to do some activities beneficial for the community, the environment, etc. The "community" normally don't include close re...

Re: Global Talent Dependent Child Visa extension when main applicant has submitted for ILR and still waiting for ILR dec

To clarify, my wife is not eligible for settlement as she need to complete 5 years total as my dependent Neither your wife nor the child are eligible for ILR now, they both follow the same route as your dependants. Unsure why you thought this rule applies to one dependant only. Further, I would lik...

She (the border control) said it’s ok, scanned my passport and let me in.
Missed stamps are not an issue for ILR.

Re: I was not instructed to return BRP

While I don't doubt that's how it works in practice, unfortunately my brain would make me too paranoid to make something up about already having returned it I'd spend the whole time waiting for a response incredibly anxious. If keeping the card if affecting your wellbeing, then for your own peace o...

A BVA visa exists in Australia, nothing to do with the UK.

Re: Payment from another Payroll

You're overthinking, this is not an issue. If it was, it would have been raised when you applied for the new visa.

Also for ILR you don't need anything from previous employers, whatever happened with the companies is irrelevant.

Re: ILR Application-Documents requried

I think the question is self-explanatory: "Since you first entered the UK, have you had any absences from the UK?" You need to put in here all the absences after you entered the UK, which is supported by submitting the stamped pages of the passport(s) in the period. Don't overthink about t...

Re: ILR Application-Documents requried

You can use the date when you actually entered the UK and still will be within the qualifying period, which is dictated by the visa issue date, so the application will proceed accordingly.

Re: Which endorsing body for a university letter?

It entirely depends on your field, role/responsibilities, etc.

For example, someone working in dance, music or literature - some of the fields covered by the route - wouldn't fit applying to the Royal Academy of Engineering... and so on.

Re: Counting the 28 days before 5 years

Just an example as this was me. I have a SW visa that started on 25/07/2019 + 5 years - 28 days = 27/06/2024. I could submit my ILR application even today and, as I have up to 45 days to book biometrics, I would book this appointment on 27/06/2024 (day # 40) or at any date onwards up to day # 45. Th...

Re: Which endorsing body for a university letter?

That's not an endorsement letter.

What you received from the university is a statement of guarantee that you use - together with a job description - to apply for endorsement to any of the endorsing bodies in the list.

Once endorsement is granted you then apply for the GTV.

Unsure what happened re dates, it also might be the case of a typo as in the currency conversion. In any case, the basis for the rejection in the letter are written following the immigration rules and the caseworker guidance, they won't tell you every single red flag raised during the assessment. I will leave the room for others to comment on the PAP, but I would like to highlight some items here. Refusal reason You state that you intend to visit the UK for 2 month and 30 days to visit your son and his family. That's a long time for a single visit (and a first time visitor), which could - ne...

Re: ILR additional evidence of absence

You don't need anything from previous employers.

The letter from current employer indicating that absences were approved is suffice. Also submit stamped pages on the passport(s) for the qualifying period (five years). That list on the portal is not exhaustive.

Re: Global talent visa

The visa expiry date is the "valid until" date on the BRP. If it says 31-05-2024 then you need to submit another application before/by that date, if not you will be an overstayer. An endorsement application is not a visa application, you apply for a GTV after the endorsement is granted. No...

Re: Global talent visa

What route are you applying for? who is the endorsing body? When you submit the endorsement application, usually the endorsing body tells you an estimated timeline to get a decision. The first stage implies applying for endorsement, it's not a visa application. Once endorsement is granted then the v...
