Re: Help for Family Visit

I don't think it makes much difference. But family visit visa would be ok. If they've got jobs in Dubai they should be ok. Around £3000 available income would also be advantageous as would booked return flights. I am a bit confused about them applying as a family visitor as the guidleines on the Ho...

I am confused whether they should be applying as FAMILY VISITOR VISA or GENERAL VISITOR VISA. What are the advantages / d...

English Requirement

First of all would like to thank you all for your inputs. I am in a real dilemma here. Taking your advice I started to fill in the FLR(M) form, but one of the requirements on it is the English Language requirement. My wife does not have a Bachelors Degree which means she will have to fulfil one of t...

ILR or FLR(M) for my wife

Hi I recently got my ILR on 14th May, 2012. Prior to that I was on Tier 1 General Visa (and before that on Work Permit). My wife came to the UK as a Tier 1 dependent on 30th July 2010 which means she should be eligible for ILR on the 30th of July, 2012. Her current Tier 1 Dependent visa expires in N...

Solihull Process

You go to your interviewer first. He will check all your documents visually, then he will ask to go and pay at the cashier. Only after that they will do all the background checks like Convictions, verification of your documents if they feel the need to do so and any other checks. This is done behind...

ILR Success at Solihull (May 2012) with Driving offence

I had a car accident in September 2007 and was convicted in February 2008 by a Magistrate court. I was given 6 points on my driving licence and a £310 fine which was paid. The 5 years for Rehabilitation finish in February 2013 and hence I was not actually eligible for my ILR. I decided to do 2 backg...
