If you just got approval email or letter in August or last week then you need to exercise patience and wait for at least 8 or 12 weeks before complaining.... Contacted HO today. 12 weeks from 7th of August; we should all get our invitation. So not 12 weeks after approval. Well at least something from them. 30th of October let's all celebrate our long waiting invitation.

12 weeks is the optimal time frame, many things could delay the deadline further.

New rules do not affect weddings, funerals offices etc. Will not affect ceremonies as long as social distancing adheared too. Approved 4th June. Still waiting. You need the HO invitation letter to attend the ceremony. Council will not let you attend before that. You can use your relative/friend’s address for correspondence address. I have used it myself for one of my previous visas. No issues.
