I am not sure about chip designing, but being an IT professional there is quite a demand for embedded system engineers with good solid skills in Linux and C++ embedded development.

One of the most widely used open source linux distros, snap gear, used in ADSL routers/modems is an Australian product.

You can get awarded 15 or 25 points depending upon your score.

All you have to do is to provide some kind of proof of your civil partnership.

It is easy to do that when you have been living together for quite some time, but not easy if its only three months.

But still give it a try.

Your employer can issue a letter of job offer to you which you can use to get the temporary work visa.

I am living in Australia for the past three years. I am from Pakistan and an IT professional.

If you have the right skills, there is lot of opportunity in Australia and you can get paid very handsomely.


I would recommend Australia.
