No one

Nope, Did not meet any such person. I saw 2 ladies who were doing "Tasbih" prayer at full speed. But when the counter staff told that there passports have not arrived, both the ladies slowed their prayer and returned back sadly. (I however did not talk to them). There was one Gerrys staff ...

Call letter

If they have told you BY E-MAIL to submit all stuff without call-in letter, then you can do so by attaching copy of that e-mail along with your application. Otherwise if told verbally, you may write this with date and time of your conversation and attach this write up. Also tell this to the Visa App...

Still Delay

theimmigrant Don't be scared, just face the facts. I think when they reject someone or return due to any reason, they do it quickly. May be there's not much filing works in that case. But in case you'll get guaranteed visa, they are taking much time for all the likkhat padhatt works. I visited Gerry...

Feedback

I think All should visit http://ukinpakistan.fco.gov.uk/en/feedback

and post regarding their poor service for visa issuance.

May be, may be they'll take any action IF they have any shame.

Poor performance

Whats wrong with the BHC folks. They are acting highly irresponsible. No matter how much work load they have, they should provide 1st class service OR they should commit a correct date even if its 6 months after submission of passport. Atleast no one will remain in suspense and will plan accordingly...

9 weeks

Discouraging attitude of BHC that they are not issuing Visa esp. for Appeal winning cases.

As I applied on 27th May, that makes more than 9 weeks have passed.

And no news of the Passport.

No call

I wish I had received a call.

After reading the above messages, I too am thinking of visiting VAC to try my luck.

I wonder what will happen if one has to urgently go to any other country for any purpose. Passport is trapped with BHC. :)

I submitted my PP, TB.C and copy of HSMP approval letter on 27th May @ Gerrys Khi and got a Visa Consignment note. I don't think contacting Gerrys would do any good. Since FCO website states that it takes 6 weeks for applications submitted at Karachi office, therefore we should wait at least 6 weeks.

Patience advice

Its good to complain. But the APL 2.15.1 section you quoted i.e. "Unreasonable delays in contacting appellants with allowed appeals often result in complaints and requests for judicial review" is regarding sending the Call-in letter by BHC. We can complain that the time frame informed by G...

I too submitted my PP, TB.C and copy of HSMP approval letter on 27th May @ Gerrys Khi and got the Visa Consignment note. Re: EC Rejetced on Campany basis

Dear khanahah, If you are in urgency, then re-apply. However, the BHC stamps in green at the last page of the passport. Also the biometrics tell that you applied earlier and got rejected. So ... you'll have to write in the VAF2 form, the reason in the columns asking that have you applied before for ...

Appeal

Why did'nt you people appeal immediately for such a small mistake !

Now I believe the 28 days of appeal have also passed.

If not, then appeal immediately.
But before doing that, try to go the NYC British High Commission and ask to re-consider as this is a silly mistake.

Re-apply

Extrovert, Actually in your case, you have a UK Masters degree. If you'd a Masters degree from Pakistan, it would be equivalent to UK Bachelors degree. That way you could have got 75 points and English letter acceptance. I'm afraid, now you'll have to take the IELTS examination and re-apply. There's...
