Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

@klownking - As per my last message, the article was published on 22nd May. They've had quite some time since then, so the situation may be different now. I really want to agree on this one but dude we are talking about HO. I hope they have the technology to process the IDV app submission quickly. ...

Re: applying for ILR on Furlough

I don't know is it related or not. But in my company, many employees got furloughed and unfurloughed at least 3 times. I don't see any issue with that process.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

So I thought I'd just post this here for info. I've heard people saying (anecdotally) that Home Office/UKVI are/can work from home but didn't see any evidence to corroborate. So for all those that have been wondering/worried whether this is the case and how bad the effect of another lockdown may be...

1st day of lockdown and nobody has reported any decision so far. What a great start... @klownking Mate, I have avoided saying anything till now, but I have been observing your posts for a while. You need to relax and let go. We're all in the same situation and there is nothing really in our hands a...

@Ajitu92 Hehe yes  🤳🏼 Your analysis is commendable 👏 Why thank you, what can I say, I have the easy pick in terms of Set LR as it is all falling in order! It seems to be 'falling in order' for only those who managed to submit in-person bio metrics (I include myself in that finite few lucky one...

I don't know why I am nervous but if I don't get the decision by next week then I will definitely get mad.
Believe me you won't. Finish line is in sight.
I hope you are right dude.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I am regretting the decision of using the IDV app. My company has decreased the pay to 5% but is still more than what it requires for the experienced worker. I have no idea what impact that would be on my application now.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I got my ILR approval this morning (T2G Set O route + Dependent), it took 7 weeks from the date of application, I have submitted biometrics with IDV app only. I want to thank everyone in this forum for support and advises I received. Congratulations...!!! It has been 13 weeks since I submitted my a...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I feel like because I approached my MP, they are penalising me purposely, SET (M) 22nd June, nothing at all complex, earning over the threshold, all documents complete, IDV 28th Aug and in-person 15th Sept. Really frustrated :?: You should save your play cards for the right time. You played it too ...

13 weeks since the date of application. I am not seeing any reply this week or during the lockdown period. For me, only 9 more weeks to go :x :x :x ... I don't know should I go mad or wait patiently.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Oh, God... It means we should not have high hopes from the HO. I think I should stop expecting a reply this week, calm down and expect a reply in 4 weeks. I went through the limited set of data we have on IDV only SET(O) apps The number of days from IDV submission to approval has been increasing st...

HO said they had 101000 applications submitted via the IDV app, as of Oct 6: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/691608/response/1667075/attach/html/5/60363%20J%20Williams%20Response.pdf.html It would take no fewer than 10 people to process 1000 applications a day. Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Applied on August 5th. No feedback yet except the delay email back in September. I only used the IDV app and now regretting the decision. I should have gone for the in-person biometrics appointment. I had an appointment booked for dual submission but it was cancelled, so you never really know. I ho...
