ILR Salary threshold for partner

Hi All, My friend is going to apply for the ILR in the next couple of months. Due to nationwide lockdown, his employer would put him on furlough for at least 4 weeks. As we all know that the minimum salary threshold for a British citizen to apply for the ILR is £18500. what would be the effect of hi...

It is actually scary to see how the HO works. How on earth they can justify their work hours...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I will reach my 8 weeks trademark of the IDV submission on Saturday. If I get back anything back by the end of this week then it will be great otherwise I will have to think about something else.

No idea what is going on the UKVI side. Exactly 12 weeks since the application submission and almost 8 weeks since the biometrics submission via the IDV app. No update from the UKVI.. absolutely dead silence.

This week especially has a slow down of overall decisions...at least reported on the forum...
The way it is going, I think October & early November would be slow months for all decisions.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

No one knows what is going to happen but this is such a pathetic system HO have for visa process. No feedbacks, no updates absolutely dead. They make almost ~800% profits on each ILR application, which means each application only costs them under £200. I am not going to have my hopes high as it has...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Just got this response from HO when I asked for the application update. The application is still in progress and the information submitted via the IDV app will be reviewed. The applications are being worked in date order. I am afraid we cannot give a time scale at this stage. Did you get this after...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Is UKVI going to ask everyone who submitted via IDV to submit again by in-person appointment? Where is this coming from? Don't you see many applicants receiving decisions via IDV app submission also? @CULLINAN I agree with what you said. But the dual submission applicants are getting faster decisio...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi I applied On UKVI site for ILR set (O) T2G on 18/09/20 and submitted documents and biometrics on 23/09/20 through IDV app. Not yet decided on enrolling for dual biometrics submission through UKVCAS in person appointment. The status on my UKVI application page still shows that I have to complete ...

Is the incompetence regarding non-submission of biometrics to UKVI applicable only for IDV submissions?
So far I think it is only for the IDV app submission. I might be wrong but I think 90% of people who only submit the biometrics via the IDV app are waiting for the decision.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

This is really worrying! How did people know that UKVI did not receive their biometrics from UKVCAS? I did ask UKVCAS on twitter that have they sent my biometrics to UKVI or not and they replied with yes. I would suggest to DM them with your UAN number and ask for the submission. I did that already...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

It is quite concerning that some people on twitter reported UKVI have not receive their biometrics, a few escalated with UKVI and UKVI responded by saying they will make a decision once they receive biometrics from UKVCAS, who are saying they send information within 24hrs. This is really worrying! ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I applied on the 5th of August and biometrics were given on 5th September (IDV app). Now, it is almost 4 weeks for biometrics submission and 2 months for the application (Tier 2 to ILR). After going through 100s of timelines, it is hard to say how UKVI process the applications. My visa is expiring n...
