Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

It has been more than 3 weeks since I submitted my biometrics and have not heard anything back from UKVI except the Delay Notice email. I had a weird chat with UKVCAS on twitter today to confirm they have submitted my biometrics to UKVI or not. I have asked why the dual submission are getting faster...

Just received an UKVI Delay email. I believe it just a standard email. Submitted biometrics via IDV app.
Generic. Ignore.
Cheers buddy. You are a lifesaver.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Just sent another message to UKVCAS and as soon as I pressed Enter somebody from the other side started typing and replied in a few seconds. So, here is the message and reply: Me: I have submitted my biometrics via IDV app. Can I still book an appointment? UKVCAS: You are only able to book an appoin...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Sent DM to UKVCAS about the in-person vs IDV app biometrics pace stuff and got the same reply as others reported... just blaming UKVI. I don't know what should I do. I think I will apply for in-person biometrics appointment next week if no communication from UKVI.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I have done my biometrics on 5th of September via IDV app. I should have gone for the in-person biometrics. I have just looked at the UKVCAS website the appointments are available for next week @£135/person. This is absolutely ridiculous. Well, I am not in a rush and could wait for the decision. Su...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

If its any consolation Klownking I deliberately paid for in-person biometrics as I urgently need a decision. That was at the end of August and still no decision. So difficult to gauge their approach. It is kinda relief but now I feel bad for you. I hope you will get the decision soon. Thanks, dude.

I applied on 5th August but did not get anything back yet. Just saw on the Timeline thread that two august applicants are able to book the appointment. Not a clue what on earth is happening within the UKVCAS department.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

E-signature should be fine. Personally, I have asked my boss to signed it personally and removed the e-signature. I have also asked him to signed the payslip because we get online. My boss signed and sent me employment letter via email. He did it via E signature too and I have also uploaded it onto...

When everyone uploading their employment letter after the application, did HR use his/her e-signature or wet signed the letter? Mine is e-signature cos everyone is working from home atm. E-signature should be fine. Personally, I have asked my boss to signed it personally and removed the e-signature...

Hi Guys, I have just applied 5 minutes ago Tier 2 to ILR Set (O). I have no idea what the hell is going to happen but will keep you posting. I will upload my consent form tomorrow. I think you will soon get an invite for biometrics appointment. If you see the Time Line thread you will know, Tier 2 ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Guys, I'm a july applicant and I am selected for biometric reuse - I got informed just now that I can opt out and book an appt next week like everyone else. What is the opt out date deadline? It says to opt out before 5pm on 10th of Aug. For June deadline is Friday, 7th Aug. Its confirmed now, July...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I don't know what opt out means but if you referring to the biometrics date deadline then it was sometime in October I was rushing to UKVCAS appointment even though I knew I won't be able to book an appointment.
