Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

FINALLY! Got a phone call just now from the Home Office (which I requested) and the caseworker was actually quite kind and apologetic that it has taken so long. She confirmed she'd reviewed all my documents and I've been granted settled status! Really happy to have that all done. So it took around 6...

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

And here we are, 6 months this week since I finalised my biometrics on 25 November. I have had to upload more information way back in March, but after that, not a word. I rang the line around two weeks ago and the lady wasn't too helpful when I asked to have it escalated. At that point she said peop...

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

Well, here we are, 16 weeks since my biometrics. I've had to upload yet MORE information on 4 March. I emailed again on 5 April to chase up. Yes I realise there has been a significant delay with Coronavirus, however this is really starting to get ridiculous. They sent back their generic email reply ...

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

Finally heard back today asking for more information  They apparently needed more residence information for my EU partner, although all the info was available on the JOINT bank account statements I submitted in my application way back in November. So I outdid myself and uploaded probably 15 s...

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

It is too early to contact MP for help. Many applicants are still receiving their decisions in 60 days or more. I personally know few of them. Hopefully you will receive your decision in next two weeks. Hope for best. I understand what you're getting at, but the Home Office should really clarify th...

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

I decided to check the status of my application (which should be fairly straightforward as I relied on the same information as the previous two residence cards) and it says it is still being processed. I followed up with a query regarding my application asking if there was any updated guidance on p...

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

Hi Lisa, I'm the non-EU family member of an Irish citizen and I didn't have to send my passport in. They check all that at the biometrics appointment along with the fingerprints and photos. It might be a very stupid question, but I am doing the same, so thought someone might advise me here. Applyin...

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

I suppose with the Christmas holidays and General Election everything must have been put on hold. No word yet about a decision for my application made nearly 6 weeks ago, just the prior email for the COA. Has anyone else applied around mid-November and gotten a response since? Hi all, US citizen hav...
