Hello. FYI I just attended my biometrics appointment and I want to mention than they asked me to sign a declaration form that I didn’t require CSI for the last 5 years and the reason why. Not sure if this is something they did before. I applied via the EU settled status route. I had my biometrics a...

I've noticed that a lot of people have a difficult time in understanding that: once PR status is achieved (be 10 ago years or whenever) you don't have to be exercising treaty rights (such as 'working' or having CSI if not employed) anymore past that point in order for residence to be considered 'law...
'Third country' means non EU citizen. Probably being dumb here, but how can you apply via the EU Settlement scheme if you’re not a EU citizen? Is this something different from applying after having been granted Settled Status? You can a apply as a spouse etc of EU citizen even if you are form non E...
''So I have uploaded my settlement letter as "proof of living" The last couple of days was really stressful, I was managed to get few documents and I have uploaded the following for "evidence that you been in the UK lawfully for your 5 year..." June 2020 payslip May 2020 payslip ...
I have a question. Will I be required to bring all the original documents to the appointment?
I uploaded my husbands passport as part of supporting evidence, will I need to bring that along as well?
Well, it asks for your employment history dating back 10 years. I'm not too sure about this but I might have read somewhere that '' the applicant must not have been in breach of immigration laws for last the 10 years'' I wonder if not exercising treaty rights (prior to achieving PR status) is tantam...
From what I've read so far, yes, they will ask you for CSI unless they exercise discretion if you don't have or you can't provide proof. If you try to do the online application, there is no way to actually avoid the question/issue. I have a similar issue, I have a gap at the start of my 5 qualifyin...
After 5 years of exercising treaty rights you achieve PR status and don't have to be exercising treaty rights anymore once that status has been achieved.
''In other words, you must have started to work a little bit before 2015.'' This is inaccurate. I am not referring to OPs situation here but just in general : It's not about 'working', 'not working'; being employed or etc. It's about exercising treaty rights within the meaning of the relevant direct...
Assuming, you've been granted Settled Status, I don't think anybody is going to revoke it for you so you can then apply for PR card. Why not just explain that you have been exercising treaty rights for 5 cont.years at some point and achieved PR status therefore there was no need for you to be exerci...
Well, I was/am married to a person who is reasonably well off and wasn't claiming any benefits so case worker can do the maths and figure it out for themselves as money had to come from somewhere LOL
Say for example, during the periods of self sufficiency was being supported by UK resident husband/ partner who would give me cash. How would I be able to proof that? I understand they have to write and sign a statement declaring this with details. I did that. Do you mind my asking but where did yo...

I could be wrong, but I dont think that bank statements are admissible as evidence in terms of naturalisation.
Also, if you weren't relaying on the welfare system that should be good enough indication.
Dear all, In the new application form checklist, in addition to "Proof of living" the evidence checklist has an item saying: Evidence that you have been in the UK lawfully for your 3 or 5 year qualifying residence period. This should be evidence that you were here as a worker, student, se...
