About lost foreign EHIC cards. I’ve had this too, got a letter from my former health insurance company confirming in a letter I had an EHIC Card for certain years. I gave it to a translation agency and attached both with all my documents and can now prove I had foreign EHIC cover. I don't it it so ...
So ..Just submitted my application and theres that csi issue AGAIN  Thing is- I arrived in UK in 2006, worked on and of (never claimed benefits of any kind) but was covered by health insurance back in my country (held EHIC cardat some point but its long lost now  ) for a period of 4 y...
@ curious man Well, it depends .. If you accumulated a period of 5 continuous/ consecutive years of 'lawful' residence at any point during youre stay in the UK- you don't have to be exercising treaty rights any longer so unemployment or lack of CSI no longer relevant. 'lawful' being : 1)employed 2) ...

As it still seems to be one of the prerequisites for what constitutes 'lawful residence'
I have been granted 'settled status' which is tantamount to ILR or PR, HO dont issue cards, just and official letter so that shoudn't cause any problems. I have a record of attending medical appointment so suppose that would be classed as evidence. I dont have any children so no child benefits etc :...
