Re: Payslip query

The 20 days finished next week. I've also lodged a complaint with the home office.
The fact that the MPs also havent received any update is worrying.
And this is the second time the case has been escalated with no update so worried as to how much longer of a delay there is going to be.

What should have taken 15 working days has taken more than double the time and we have still not received any update. I send emails to UKVI multiple times and f...

Re: Payslip query

We received our visa, but because inability to travel due to COVID circumstances, I'm going to extend the visa vignette. Is it possible to apply for a vignette while the current 90 day period is still valid? , AS our via is valid from April to July, and we apply say 3 weeks before the end of our vis...

Re: Payslip query

Tbh I'm in two minds about what to do. I just don't know anyone in my position who has since Last March 2020 applied for visa and been in a similar position, needing an extension. I know the Tier 2 visa dependants, last year had to extend their vignette , and their BRP did have the new date. Flight...

Re: Payslip query

the proposed date of travel for our application was 1st of May 2021 and we applied on the 28th of February. I was under the impression that we can extend the vignette by 90 days as long as we pay the 154£ fee. I know there is this statement "however, we can only defer the start date of the vis...

Re: Payslip query

" BRP start date remains the same so therefore they have a shortfall" can you give me an example. Given the current situation with COVID cases in India, lockdown and inability of flights, and UK being on red list, won't that change? I was informed that people who had expires Tier 2 depende...

Re: Payslip query

" BRP start date remains the same so therefore they have a shortfall" can you give me an example. Currently, India is on the red list and there are no flights available. I think this might be extended at least till June start of July with the number of cases increasing. Therefore, paying 1...

Re: Payslip query

I got my spouse visa approved, vignette valid from 26/04/21 to the 25/07/21, however, I have an exam at the end of August after which I'd rather come to the UK. I know I can pay to extend the vignette. Can this be done while the current vignette period is valid i.e. during May or June? Or do I have ...

Re: Payslip query

Essentially, I have an exam at the end of August that I need to do before travelling, if the visa is granted say for e.g. by end of April, 90 days vignette will only be upto end of July. Can we contact HO and extend it further. Do we need to pay for the extension.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Payslip query

If due to personal circumstances, the applicant can't enter the country within the 90 days of visa granted, is it possible to extend the duration by which the applicant needs to enter, say by one more month i.e. 120days?

Re: Payslip query

If and when one gets a spouse visa approved, how long do we have to enter the UK, is it 30 days or 3 months, by which we need to enter the UK.

Re: Payslip query

I had a few questions regarding the application 1. Is it ok to put down as having more than one email id but just specifying which one for UKGOV to use for contacting us 2. I have a degree that was taught in English but won't be using it as I don't have a NARIC certificate, instead, I wrote the IELT...

Re: Payslip query

when applying from India, some agencies are asking for a PCC ( police clearance certificate), I was under the impression that this is not a requirement for UK spouse visa applicants. Is that still the case or is it necessary.

Re: Payslip query

Due to the BACS payment in July, I had no payslip in July. In August payslip, they calculated all that so my gross shown in August is 5500 which is both Aug and July pay, but I'm starting to count 6 months payslip from Aug-Jan.
So I'll be submitting Aug- Jan payslip and bank statement.

Re: Payslip query

So essentially, when applying under Cat A, one can have different amounts paid each month, but it would be the lowest salary amount that they will take into consideration to see whether we meet the 18,600£ per-annum criteria. I mean, it doesn't have to be fixed amount every month, as long as you ar...
