Need of Naturalization before applying for first passport

Hello, My wife recently got her Indefinite Leave to Remain m five-year route.
Can I apply for a British passport for her straight away or do I have to apply for naturalisation first then a British passport?

Hey, Thank you for the reply.
No I meant is the the copy of Sa02 you can downlaod form the Hmrc site good as the one they send by post all I have is that one I downloaded uploaded to the application,
I mean should I push the change the appointment to a later date so or Are they the same.

Applying for housing benefit While on spouse visa extension

Hello my wife arrived here on spouse visa, she was given 2.5 years and we have extended it another 2.5 years. We are applying for extension in a year again.
My question is if I apply for government to help me with housing will it effect my wife’s visa extension?
