No, you may apply for ILR between Saturday, 20 April 2013 and Thursday, 16 May 2013 . Apologies for hijacking this post and I know that there is another question. Is extension necessary?

I arrived into the country on 18/05/2008 so the 5 year mark will be 18/05/13 BUT my Tier 1 Visa finishes on 17/05/2013. So does that mean I need to get my tier 1 renewed instead of the ILR just for the one day??
