Is anyone else worried they will postpone the ceremonies due to the Coronavirus? It's a lot of people in one place over 2 days from all nationalities. It only just occurred to me that we are a lot of people + guests.
Perhaps I am overthinking, happy to be reassured!!
Good morning all, Another day for the " Ceremony invitation soap opera" 😅 Can I ask anyone who has received invites to also add the date they received their approval letter? Just to understand if they are following a chronological order or it's totally at random. I got my approval letter ...

Three ceremonies!! Great news for all that are waiting!! Wonder if the 3rd will also have 3? Congratulat...
Has anyone been invited to a ceremony and then not been able to attend? There's an option to email them on the invite but it says it will cause lengthy delays in getting a new ceremony date. I'm curious if that means next ceremony or like bottom of the pile waiting until next year kind of delay?

Based on the March 2 ceremony arrival time of 1230 are we thinking there will just be one per day not two like in December? The afternoon ceremony started later in December with arrival time of 13:15. And there was one in the morning before but I cannot remember the start time. It was bedlam in the...
If you are right, it would be 1 ceremony per day, cause in December it was madness. My wife was over there for ceremony at 13.15pm. And before 13.15pm it was early Ceremony at 11.00am. So, if they want to give 8000 people Irish CitizenShip Naturalization Certificate it would be 2 Ceremonies per day...

You only need the re-entry if you are from a visa required country. Fortunately, USA and Canada are not. This issue has been going on for far too long. Why does the department not let applicants send only copies of their IRP card with the €950 payments plus pictures and only hand in the card on the...
You can not travel (with exceptions) once you hand over your IRP card, otherwise you should be fine. I'd imagine for August ceremonies they would send letters in June/July, so April trip shouldn't be a problem. You can travel without the irp card without issue. We've done it loads. Keep a photo of ...
I received mail regarding fee and IRP card to be send yesterday but now away from Ireland on business trip and will be away till the week after. It means will not make it within 10 days limit and probably will miss march ceremony :( Does it mean that I can not travel outside Ireland until the cerem...

They may wait after Saturday election day. That is truth. They will send Invitations on Next Tuesday 11th, Wednesday 12th, and Thursday 13th. It is deadline now. Finger crossed!! Good luck to all!!! Do you guys think so? Wouldn't that be too close to the ceremony dates? I still think they could sen...
Quick question again We have submitted GNIB card along with draft so if I don’t get call for March ceremony, how will I manage without GNIB card till Next ceremony which is probably in December? Thanks I'm our experience it's not an issue. Show your letter of approval and either a photocopy of the ...
As someone stated before, they probably will start sending them 2-3 weeks in advance of the ceremonies. It's still too early. Maybe they are waiting to get responses with payment of the fee from enough people first. Thanks. Just hoping all of the approval get the invite. ReadIng through the old pos...
kids are allowed Kids weren't allowed at the December ceremony which I think was new? My husbands invite to the ceremony included a "ticket" (pink piece of paper with ADULT GUEST printed on it) for one guest and it clearly stated it was to be an adult and not a child. The guests go to one...
If it's the same as me which is most likely (UK citizen), you just send photos and payment only. Am I right in thinking there's no need to get the photos signed by a solicitor at the approval stage? You just need to write your application reference on the back of each. Solicitor/notary not required...
I'm anxiously waiting for my invitation. I got the letter with the proposal to grant on Jan 8, sent the payment the following day and it was received by them on Jan 10th. Since then I've been checking the post everyday. You guys approved since November damn! I hope I don't have to wait months after...

Did you get one? Seems much earlier than I would expect? I would have thought mid Feb? My husband got 10 days notice for the December ceremony. Hello, I have not got one as of yet. My application is pending since early 2017 and from their last correspondence its in a advanced stage but who knows! :...
I applied in Sept 2018. Got second stage letter finally in June 2019 and just got my letter asking for the €950 this week. Very long process for me as I had many requests for extra documents. I'm hoping for the March ceremony but not really expecting it as they have loads of people in their back log...
